Without a Prescription
Ceftin is prescribed in the treating of a large number of infections such as:
- Bronchitis;
- Ear infections;
- Gonorrhea;
- Sinusitis;
- Skin infections;
- Tonsillitis;
- Urinary Tract Infections;
Overdose
If you suspect an overdose of Ceftin and if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms you should seek immediate
medical attention and inform your doctor:
- Abdominal cramps;
- Diarrhea;
- Nausea;
- Seizures;
- Vomiting;
Side Effects
Ceftin can lead to a series of side effects such as:
- Abnormal bleeding or bruising;
- Bloody tarry and black stools;
- Diarrhea;
- Difficulty in breathing;
- Hives;
- Itching;
- Mucus in the stool;
- Nausea;
- Rash;
- Redness;
- Swelling of the tongue face or lips;
- Throat closing;
- Vomiting;
Ceftin can also lead to some other side effects which are far less serious:
- Vagina yeast infection;
- Mouth yeast infection;
- Mild diarrhea or nausea;
Drug Interactions
Ceftin can react with acid reducers (for one's stomach) and antacids:
- Ranitidine;
- Nizatidine;
- Famotidine;
- Cimetidine;
